Restricting heavy goods vehicles in Hedge End Town Centre.

Local Labour campaign team member Andrew Merewether-Helps writes:

As a resident of Hedge End living on Lower Northam Road, neighbours and I hear heavy lorries running through the town centre all day and night.

We would like to petition the council to restrict the types of vehicles in the village. HGVs should not use it as a through route. Only deliveries should be permitted.

The town centre is a hub of activity with children crossing for school and all members of the public.
