Hamble Valley Labour Party is extremely pleased to mark Pride Month 2025 by announcing the formation of a new LGBTQ+ branch.
Our new LGBTQ+ branch chair Modeste N. Owona (Mo) says:
“We are excited to announce the formation of our new Labour LGBTQ+ branch within Hamble Valley!
This branch aims to foster inclusivity, support our members and allies , and advocate for equal rights and opportunities within the community.
Join us ! Your voice matters, and together we can make a difference!

The role of the new branch will be to:
Ensure that LGBTQ+ members’ voices are heard in the Party, shaping the LGBTQ+ member’s agenda and contributing to policy making.
Encourage and support LGBTQ+ members to play a full and active part in all the Party’s activities, through training, networking and mentoring.
Encourage LGBTQ+ members to run for elected office.
Build links with LGBTQ+ voters in the community, through contact with trade unions, community organisations and individual LGBTQ+ voters.
Encourage LGBTQ+ voters to join the Party and to ensure that new LGBTQ+ members are welcomed.
